Quarantining fish is an extremely important process for all Koi dealers and it is one that we take very seriously.
All new shipments go directly into our purpose built facility. During 2007 extensive renovation were made and it now contains over 18,000 litres of water. Each holding area has been equipped with dedicated Hydra 6000 gravity fed filtration systems, air pumps, UVS, Declorinators and heating units.
We work closely with CEFAS and all testing procedures are in accordance with their recommendations. During the isolation period the fish are rested, closely monitored and exposed to various testing procedures. When we are 100% confident that everything is perfect the fish are transported to our retail ponds.
